Thoughts on Discussion

I thought that today was one of our classes best discussion because everyone tried to contribute to the fish bowl. And if someone could not share there ideas i am sure that we discussed it in the fish bowl. And i think the idea of making the rules and things to be graded on was a good idea. But still some of the rules need to be adjusted. One rule that i really think should be adjusted is the rule of how many times that we can go in the fish bowl. First reason because when we where only on the first topic out of three i had already gone in three times. So i could not contribute to the fish bowl the next two times. So the rule should be limited for each topic. But we also stayed on topic A LOT better from last time. 

Octomom vs One Child Policy

My idea of how many child you can have when you grow up is. As many as you want. Bu the only thing with having a lot of children or even just a little amount, you have to be able to take care of the amount of children you have. So you have to provide you children with good education and good health. And I do not at all believe or agree with the idea of only having one child. And even though the population is increasing rapidly. No one should be able to control your life and how you want to live it. People have a choice, human rights. So I completely disagree with the government controlling the amount of your children. But i do think having more then 10 or 12 children is CRAZY!!!

World Wide Law

Can we change the One Child Policy? Maybe we can and we could make it a world wide rule. Also instead of the rule being only One child it could be something like 5 children per an family. And Also since some people were donating money to the family which had 14 kids. Then the government should know the amount of money your getting each month. But they with only know that if your family has over 4 children. And if you are not getting enough money for the month for your family. Then the government should give you the amount that you need for the month. But then if it happens again the children can be taken to a place where they will be kept for a while until the family has enough money for the children to be brought back into the family. And i think this should become the rules for the whole wide world. I believe it is a great idea because you can have as many kids you want, but you just have to be able to keep them healthy and have a good education. 

One Child Policy

My thoughts on the One Child Policy was shocked at the thought that parents could not control the amount of there own children. Also why would China want to have a blast of children to over power America with people? Also i was amazed that the citizens of China did not have a choice in the law and the rights to have as many children you want. My headline for this subject was "Why only one, Why not more?" I thought that the law was okay at the start because the only child would be more healthy and get better education because the money in the family only had to go to one child. But if it said that some children in China had problems with social skills. Then if he only child had a brother or sister they would have someone to talk to. So over all I agreed at the start, but now I disagree with the law.

shakespeare sonnet 7 2 draft

My thinking of the shakespeare sonnet 7 is now completely different from it used to be. It used to be me thinking that there was a king who wanted a baby and is finaly getting one. But now it has from that to a man who lives with the sun. and with the poem how it says "unless though get a son" used to think that it mean son as in baby or kid. Also it has chaged now i think from the reasoning of my classmates that it means son as in sun. I know it sounds weird but it could be about a man lives and dies everyday just as the sun does. everyday. like how it rises and sets. o when it rises a new baby is born. And when it is in mid day the man i working his butt off. And finally when it sets the man goes back to bed. Just like a day.

I think that this poem i about a man. And the man has just woken up and is hoping to have a wonderful and handsome son. But then he i demanded to have a son by someone. and i think that the man in the story that wants a son is william shakepeare

amazing maps of mesiopotamia and modern day

Today in class we watched a movie shows maps from Mesopotamia. in that map I could see the border less areas there. also there was no as many citys as we have today. But as the maps got closes and closer to our time i could see the borders starting to separate the country's and empires. when we got to our discussion about what we "See, Think and Wonder" Most people discussed how the maps would get more detailed and how the country's were more separated from one another. also for what people thought it was also about the details like " i think that those white lines are rivers." but for wonder it was hard to find ways for discussions. but the one that i thought about the most was " I wonder what that scale is for on the bottom of the map." I like that one because it shows not only to look at where and what the countrys have. but around, below and above it. well that is what we learnt in humanities today.
